CONFERENCE FEES

All authors with accepted papers can pay SDEWES centre Full membership fee (or Student membership if applicable) for the period of two years and have their 2011 conference fee waived (if the membership is paid until 15.5.2011)

Full conference participation fee: 550 EUR + VAT   CLOSED
Reduced conference participation fee: 250 EUR + VAT   requests CLOSED
Accompanying person social programme fee: 100 EUR + VAT
(co-authors are not allowed as accompanying persons)
Members of IC SDEWES may have their fees waived deadline passed
Additional paper fee: 200 EUR + VAT   CLOSED

Members of IC SDEWES which paid their membership fees for 2011 and 2012 by May 15, 2011, would have their conference fee waived.

Reduced fee applies to students (proof required) and to those participants from certain countries in development and transition, who are recommended as leading scientists by the International Scientific Committee members. Also the reduced fee is granted to one author of the paper awarded as the "BEST PAPER" from our last conference. Requests can be made during registration process.

Participants that need visa are kindly asked to settle their fee before June 30, 2011, since after that date the time will be too short for visa formalities. (visa page)

The full conference fee covers access to all Conference Sessions, the Conference Social programme, coffee breaks, lunch, Book of Abstracts, downloadable CD Proceedings and other Conference material, the submission and presentation of up to two papers (one orally, the second as a poster), as well as issuing a certified Letter of Guarantee for those who need Croatian visa (visa page). The fee is also used to support participation of students and participants from developing countries and economies in transition.

The reduced conference fee covers access to all Conference Sessions, the Conference Social programme, coffee breaks, lunch, Book of Abstracts, downloadable CD Proceedings and other Conference material, as well as submission and presentation of up to two papers (one orally, the second as a poster). The reduced fee does not cover the cost of issuing a certified Letter of Guarantee for those who need Croatian visa, which incurs additional fee of €60 (+VAT) if delivered by airmail, or €140(+VAT) if delivered by courier service (visa page).

Additional papers per presenting author will be allowed as posters, for an additional paper fee.

The accompanying person fee covers access to the Conference Social programme. The accompanying person fee does not cover the cost of issuing a certified Letter of Guarantee for those who need Croatian visa, which incurs additional fee of €60(+VAT) if delivered by airmail, or €140(+VAT) if delivered by courier service (visa page). The accompanying person fee is open only to non-authors accompanying authors participating in the Conference.

Specialised courses participation fee covers access to one of the specialised courses, lunch, coffee breaks, all the relevant materials, exam and diploma. It may also include ECTS in case the course issues them.

Cancellation policy: Cancellations must be received in writing before September 15, 2011 in order to obtain a refund minus a €100 administrative charge. After September 15, 2011 refunds are not available.

No show policy: Authors which do not participate in the Conference, or which participate but do not present their paper, will have their paper cancelled and the paper will not be published in the CD Proceedings and will not be publishable in a special issue of any of the journals. In case of no show fee refund is not available.

Publishing policy: Only papers presented at the Conference by one of the authors will be published in the CD Proceedings, which will be delivered to the participants online by October 30, 2011. Book of Abstracts and other Conference material will only be delivered at the Conference venue to the corresponding/presenting authors. The materials will not be available after the Conference by mail.

Special issue publishing policy: Only papers that corresponding authors nominate, ISC with help of reviewers recommends, presenting author have the conference fee settled by May 15, 2011 and have the paper presented at the Conference, may be invited to one of the special issues.
